Ingredients 

  • 2 Cups Maida
  • 1 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 2 Tbsp of Semolina
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp melted hot ghee
  • 1 Cup of Jaggery
  • Oil to de fry
  • Shell Plate or Fork 
  • Water


Steps for making Sweet Gavvalu :

  • Take two cups of Maida to add one cup of wheat flour,  half tbsp of salt,2 tbsp of Semolina.
  • And the hot ghee.
  • Mix without Lumps.
  • Add water little by little and mix well.
  • Make thick dough
  • Cover the lid and rest for 10 min
  • Make small round balls.
  • Use the shell plate or fork to make shells.
  • Take one round ball press and roll on shell plate or fork repeat the same process.
  • Take a bowl and oil to de fry the shells.
  • Once oil heated drop into the heated oil.
  • Stir occasionally in medium flame.
  • Once u get golden brown keep aside and cool it.

Steps Jaggery syrup:

  • In a bowl, add 1 cup of Jaggery.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water.
  • Stir until the Jaggery melts.
  • Filter the jaggery syrup into a bowl to avoid wastage.
  • Add filtered Jaggery syrup and stir occasionally.
  • Once the syrup ready off the stove and add the fried shells.
  • Mix well and leave till gets dry.
